Hey Besties! I LOVE a thoughtful, heartfelt gift that is easy on the wallet but is always appreciated. Everyone knows homemade cookies are the BEST, but it’s not always an option to gift baked goods. That is why I adore this mason jar cookie recipe! It’s easy and beautiful to make and you can dress it up as much as you want. The recipient can easily make these homemade cookies when it works best for them and will still be thinking of you! It’s the perfect gift for loved ones living away from you that would love a taste of home. Today’s recipe is for mason jar M&M cookies because they are SOOOO yummy and festive in holiday colors. But this jar recipe can be gifted and enjoyed year-round! Let’s dig in!

Materials Needed

I use a wide mouth quart size (32 oz) mason jar for this recipe. You may find it helpful to have a funnel to add ingredients, but you can carefully make it without. Then you just need some fun string and a tag for the recipient to know how to make the cookies. Now certainly you can dress up your mason jar as much as you want – go wild! I’ve also included an adorable gift tag printable for you to use, which you can download below. I suggest printing on cardstock.
