After years of using a mixture of tools, both electronically and on paper, I’m so excited to be able to have everything together and accessible for life on the go. All about My planning bestie
There has been MUCH contemplation on whether to serve this planner in a digital format or a physical format. Definitely pros and cons both ways, right? But based on your feedback and the digital world we’re living in, My Planning Bestie is born as a digital planner. This way, you have it with you everywhere you go, so convenience and usability in today’s life was a major factor.
The best experience in using this planner is on an iPad or tablet. It can be used on your phone as well, but in my opinion, that is best used for quick checks, at-a-glance information and quick updates. I do the bulk of my planning, designing and organizing on my iPad and then can execute on the fly using my phone during each day and week.
Just like any digital planner, it does require the use of a PDF annotation app, like Goodnotes, Notability, or whichever app you prefer (not included with the planner). These apps make navigating, writing, adding stickers, editing and doing ALL the things super simple and fun. Honestly, I could spend hours in my planner, and I do, which makes life so much more organized day-to-day. Having one place to jot down notes, reminders and appointments is a lifesaver.
What makes my planning bestie unique?
We all know there are no shortage of planner options out there! And since I research everything to death, a lot of time went into exploring what was already available. Unfortunately, there was a gaping hole for a digital planner that could handle organizing everyday life, combined with unique tools designed for bakers.
This planner beautifully lets you organize and plan from a year-at-a-glance, by each month, each week and even daily if you want. And a sticker pack of 45 sweet icons and shapes lets you customize and make it your own.
Additional tools, such as the 2026 Baker Holidays, lets you easily see and plug your baking plans into your calendar. The Design page, lets you sketch digitally or drag and drop designs or images into the page to create and save your ideas. Capture cutter details, colors and all your other notes to be able to create one at-a-glance summary of an order or set, so you can execute seamlessly. Other pages, such as the Shopping/reorder List and Brain Dump give you pretty spaces to jot down notes and reminders for yourself when you think of them.
My kids would tell you I’m famous for saying, “Write it down!” Those things that pop into your mind during each day, disappear quickly when you move onto the next thing. So now you have a place to do just that, on the go, when you think of it. And you’ll thank yourself later.

Once you’ve downloaded these items and get started, I encourage you to play around with your new bestie! Navigating your planner is as simple as tapping the tabs or swiping. And using a stylus or digital pencil offers the best (and most fun) experience. Write in your own handwriting or use text if you prefer. Use stickers to make it your own. Capture important days, plans and reminders. Honestly, the more you play with it, the more features you’ll find to tailor it as your go-to assistant.
