How to Make Beautiful 2026 Graduation Cookies The Simple Way!

Hey Bestie! If you’ve been here before, you know I LOVE to give you options. Techniques, packaging, recipes, you name it, there’s almost always ways to make things better or easier. Which is why I’m so excited to share this fun new option for 2026 graduation cookies with you! Sweet designs and a method to make them beautifully, consistently and efficiently. I know that many cookiers struggle with consistent lettering and fonts on cookies, so I’m hoping this will be something you’re excited about too! Let’s dive in!

2026 Graduation designs

A couple years ago, the cookie community went gaga over this simple grad cap design I shared that included sanding sugar! It’s been so fun to see thousands of cookies use this design, especially because it works beautifully for all colors!

So this year, I really wanted to introduce something special again, but with a twist! So I’m happy to share these 4 new graduation cookie cutter designs! And the fun twist is that each cookie cutter comes with a corresponding royal icing transfer sheet with numbers perfectly sized to match your cutter. This way, you can make your numbers consistently and efficiently, to add to your flooded cookies. It’s the simplest way to create a beautiful grad cookie design by simply flooding your cookie and adding your transfers!

Helping fellow cookiers create amazing cookies using the simplest methods is kind of my jam, so I really hope this will help others make beautiful cookies more easily.

Are Royal icing transfers new to you?

If you’ve never made or used royal icing transfers before, no worries, I’ve got you! THIS post covers all the benefits, tips, tricks and FAQs so you can start creating your own transfers right away. Numbers are one of the designs I make most often using transfers and are so convenient to have on hand. Give me a Friday night, a good podcast, some icing and royal icing transfer sheets and I’m a happy cookier.

Cookie Cutter Designs

I have 4 different graduation cookie cutter designs available and you can order physical cutters HERE or you can download the STL files HERE. You’ll also receive the corresponding royal icing transfer sheet specific to your cutter design with the precisely measured numbers to fit your exact cutter. In the case of the Balloon Cookie Cutter, you’ll actually receive 2 royal icing transfer sheets – one of the numbers and one for the balloons.

All cutters are available in 3″, 3.5″, 3.75″, 4″ and 4.5″. When ordering physical cutters, you can select the size you’d like to receive. When purchasing the STL files, you get all 5 sizes so you can print any size you’d like. Again, you have options to make your cookies your own.

Hi! I clicked on and ordered the 2026 cookie cutter and transfer sheet. It arrived very quickly but the transfer sheet did not come in the box. Is this something I would receive from you? If not, I haven’t been able to get in touch with the seller. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Debora, if you ordered the physical cutter, the transfer sheet download was sent to you in a separate email, from The Cookie Mercantile, when you ordered. Sometimes emails can land in spam/promo/junk folders, so I recommend checking those for the email. If you don’t see it, let me know and I can have it resent to you again. Thanks!

Thanks for all you do and your recipes and site are a God sent favor. Could you please provide a tip on editing the Grad cards from 2024 to 2026?

Not sure if your baking soda is still good? Add a teaspoon of baking soda to 1/2 cup hot water. If it bubbles, it's still good!
