Delivering Delicious Greetings With Beautiful Holiday Cookie Cards

Hey Besties! If you’ve been here before, you may already know we are a big fan of delivering sweet greetings by way of cookie cards! And if cookie cards are new to you, get ready to be inspired! In an age where the five-dollar store greeting card has lost its luster, cookie cards are a magical way to deliver a sweet sentiment. A delicious gift combined with a thoughtful message is always received with love and appreciation. And I’m thrilled to be sharing these free holiday cookie cards with you to use this season! I’m also sharing some of my favorite other sources for cookie card designs as well! And for our bakery biz besties, if you are not offering cookie cards in your business, you are missing out! Let’s get into it!

What Is A Cookie Card?

Let’s do a quick recap for those who are new to cookie cards! I introduced these in THIS post last spring and had an overwhelming response. We offer cookie cards year-round for all kinds of different occasions, events and holidays! Givers and receivers alike love the special sweet gift. And my newsletter subscribers always have free access to my cookie card designs.

The cute cards can be printed at home or at a local printing store, such as Staples. We offer both 4×6 and 5×7 cards and today’s holiday cookie cards are all 5×7 in size. We print them at home on cardstock for a sturdier card and there are endless paper options you could consider!

Once you have a card design you love, simply create a complimentary cookie to attach to the card. Most cookiers, including us, heat seal their cookie and then attach to the card with double sided tape. And voila! You have an adorable card and gift rolled into one!

Offering Cookie Cards In Your Bakery

As bakery owners, we’re always looking for unique ways to offer our sweet treats to customers in new ways. Cookie cards can be a fabulous, easy (and lucrative) way to add another offering for your clients. A greeting card alone can commonly be $5 or more and these days, people are looking for a little more bang for their buck. But for around the same price, cookie cards present a unique gift option that’s very appealing for many.

Are cookie cards designed for snail mail? Not so much. But they are perfect for local gift giving, wedding favors, classroom celebrations, holiday parties, staff recognition, customer appreciation and so much more!

In fact, they can be a great marketing tool for businesses as well. When a company gives out a cookie card to an employee, customer or client, that goes a long way. If you have business clientele, you should definitely be offering cookies cards. It’s yet another great way to set yourself apart from what others are offering. I talk more about how to promote the cookie card business offering in THIS post if that’s something that you’d like to explore.

Other Great Cookie Card Sources!

Now Bestie, I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not a graphic designer! You are welcome to use these designs and the ones I offer for free in my newsletter, but you’ve got options! You can certainly design and make your own cookie cards or check out some of my favorite shops!

  • CakeMockeryDesigns – they offer adorable designs in both pre-printed and print-from-home options!
  • CookiePrintableShop – cute cookie cards, tags, bag toppers and so much more!
  • TheSugarBakery – cookie cards and endless other printables for your treats!

I’d love to find the cookie cutters you used for the cards! The gnome, tree, gingerbread man, etc! Please!

Not sure if your baking soda is still good? Add a teaspoon of baking soda to 1/2 cup hot water. If it bubbles, it's still good!
