Recipes
Cutout Cookie Recipe
Up first, we have to start with a delicious palette! I opted for one of my all-time favorite flavors for this set, using our Funfetti cutout cookie recipe. Bestie, I’m not gonna lie…I could easily eat this entire batch of dough if left alone while making these. If you loved licking the beaters while making a vanilla cake as a kid, you will LOVE these cookies. Sometimes we add sprinkles to our dough but today we didn’t. I was after the flavor more than anything and they did not disappoint.
The secret ingredient for this amazing flavor is THIS flavoring! Some fellow besties have even started using this flavoring in their signature recipe, it’s that good. It’s definitely a flavor we always have on hand and a favorite among our bakery customers.
- You can have your cake and eat it too! Don’t be out-celebrated on your next dessert. Add a touch of Cake Batter flavor and some sprinkles to make your dessert extra special.
Royal Icing Recipe
If you don’t have a royal icing recipe you love or your current recipe is giving you any grief, please try THIS! It walks you through exactly how we make our royal icing for all of our cookies. The secret to perfect royal icing is in the METHOD of how you make it. It’s super simple, but important to follow the few steps. We never have to deal with color bleed, cratering or other common issues that plague cookiers. And let me tell ya, cookie decorating is SO much more fun when you have amazing royal icing!
Super Bowl Cookies Decorated for fun!
This cookie set consists of using cutters from THIS plaque cutter set and THIS classic cookie cutter set! I literally use at least one of the cutters from that plaque set in every cookie set I make! And I’ll always recommend the Wilton 101 cutter set to any new decorator. There are SO many great shapes at a bargain price. I think I’ve had that cutter set for at least 20 years and they are as good as new.
So now we’ve got our cookie recipe, icing recipe and cutters! I should mention that I always use ChefMaster gel colors for my cookies. I can achieve virtually any shade or hue I’d like with that set we order on repeat!
Now, we just need some funny inspiration for these cookies! And whether it’s you or someone you know; we all know people who are there for the dip! But this set includes something for everyone!

How do you get your lettering so small and clear on the Super Bowl cookies?
Hi! I use a thicker royal icing consistency for lettering like this and a really small hope in the tip of the bag! If your icing is pooling or running together in those small space, it’s a little too thin still…add ain a little more powdered sugar!
