Hey Besties! Today I’m sharing these super cute and easy teacher appreciation cookies perfect to show your gratitude! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 7-13 this year, but these are wonderful any time! In fact, sometimes teachers love the unexpected gift of gratitude on any other random day. I’ve put together two different gifting options so you can decide what works best for you or your customers! Let’s dive in!

Recipes

First things first, if you need an amazing cutout cookie recipe, you can never go wrong with our no-chill, no-spread vanilla sugar cookie recipe that you can find HERE. But for these teacher appreciation cookies, we actually used our cinnamon sugar cutout recipe for a little something special! You can find it HERE. And for our icing, we used our go-to royal icing recipe which we LOVE and is available for you HERE.

Designs

I’m featuring two different configurations today; one including a cookie card and then a 2-piece cookie set. Both utilize a round cutter for the cookie and then for the 2-piece cookie set, I utilized a square cutter as well. Let’s look at the 2-piece cookie set first!

This adorable set can be packaged together to gift to teachers and surely bring a smile. The message on the square cookie was super easy to achieve, using THIS stencil! Simply scrape stiff royal icing across the stencil for a perfectly adorable message. Bake Art Stencils is even allowing me to share a promo code to save you some dough! You can use promo code: BBESTIE10 to save 10% on your entire purchase from Bake Art Stencils (not valid on gift cards, one use per customer).

Our next configuration utilizes our cookie cards and are so cute as a gift! Besties who subscribe to receive our weekly newsletter always have free access to our printables, but you can download this one here below! This sheet will print two 4×6 cookie cards and we recommend printing on cardstock.

And of course, we individually seal our cookies and attach to the cookie card with double-sided tape. It looks something like this when fully packaged!
