The Easter Cookie Cards You Need To Usher In Spring!

Hey Besties! Spring is just around the corner (thank goodness!) and that means it’s time to start thinking about Easter! One of the biggest baking holidays of the year and you want to be ready! And given the overwhelming response we’ve had to our cookie cards, I’m thrilled to share these new Easter cookie cards! They are such a fun way to share your cookies and other treats. We also have Besties making a killing in their bakeries offering these! So, whether you’re a hobby baker or a bakery biz owner, these are designed for you! And of course, they are all free for you to use! Read on to see this season’s sweet designs and learn more about how you can use these! Let’s HOP in!

Bestie, What Is a Cookie Card?

A cookie card is like a greeting card but with a cookie attached! So instead of spending $5 (or more) on a greeting card at the store, these fun designs come with a cookie attached! Any kind of cookie or even cake pops work perfectly with these cards. And both givers and receivers LOVE them! I mean who doesn’t want to receive a cute card with a custom cookie?! A sweet greeting and a thoughtful gift rolled into one!

And for the bakery biz besties, cookie cards can be a sweet, little gold mine! Most cookiers sell their cookie cards for between $4-$7, depending on the size and type of treat you attach and your market. There are besties that sell hundreds of these for each holiday! It’s yet another great way to set yourself apart from what others are offering. I talk more about how to promote the cookie card business offering in THIS post if that’s something that you’d like to explore.

Beyond the big card-giving holidays, cookie cards are also excellent for wedding favors, classroom celebrations, staff recognition, customer appreciation, and other large gatherings. It doesn’t always make good business sense to sell individual cookie cards, but by marketing to these kinds of events, is definitely great business!

Cookie Card FAQs

Answering all your questions that are commonly asked about cookie cards!

  • Where do you print your cookie cards? We print our cookie cards at home! But some choose to have them printed off at stores like Staples or any local printer.
  • What kind of paper do you use for your cookie cards? We print on card stock (110 weight) so the cards are sturdier. There are endless paper options out there to choose from. It’s totally up to you and the look and feel you want!
  • How do you attach your cookies to the cards? We always individually heat seal our cookies (or you can use a self-sealing bag). Then they get attached to the card using double-sided tape or glue dots.
  • What size cookie cards are best? These Easter cookie cards I’m sharing are all 4×6 cards, which we prefer for full-sized cookies. And remember, these aren’t going into an envelope, so if you’re cookie is slightly larger than the card, that’s okay! It’s more about the cookie than the card!
  • Where is the best place to get cookie cards? In addition to the ones available here, I always share cookie cards for a number of different occasions in my weekly newsletter. Feel free to subscribe near the bottom of this post if you don’t already receive it! But there are also a lot of great cookie cards options on Etsy! I’ll share a few of my favorite cookie card shops here as well.

Other FABULOUS COOKIE CARD SHOPS

Thank you SO much for your post! I am anxious to try cookie cards this year for Easter. I am a hobby baker who has taken up cookie decorating in my retirement years. Many thanks and cookie on!

Not sure if your baking soda is still good? Add a teaspoon of baking soda to 1/2 cup hot water. If it bubbles, it's still good!
