I don’t know what it is about bunny butt cookies and cake pops, but they are so darn cute, always great sellers and customer favorites! With Easter coming soon, a huge holiday for baked goods, I’ve gotten into bunny butt season. I’ve created some super cute, easy and beginner-friendly cookies and cake pops which I hope will provide you some inspiration!

I used THIS cookie recipe, which is my go-to recipe for delicious and easy, no-chill, no spread sugar cookies. I used THIS Royal Icing recipe, which never fails me; it’s quick to make and so easy to work with! I did add a few drops of LorAnn Marshmallow super strength flavor to my icing for a fun twist and it’s delicious! If you like fun flavor combinations like I do, see THIS post all about emulsions, extracts and super strength flavors. Okay, on to the bunny butts.

Bunny Butt Cookies Example 1

I used THIS bunny butt cookie cutter but honestly, you could probably turn a Mickey Mouse head upside down too! This first example is a beginner-friendly design with sparkly sanding sugar!

Example 2

Here is another example with a couple different, cute tail options. Use the same first two steps from the above example and then you’ll also notice that I let the feet crust before piping the feet details on. I prefer this look for the feet! Note that for the rosette tail, you will want to use stiff royal icing consistency.

Bunny Butt Cake Pops

Is there anything more fun than bunny butt cookies? Maybe…bunny butt cake pops?! These are super simple, yet fun cake pops, which people always LOVE. I made a basic white cake pop, coated with white almond bark. Then used white and pink-colored almond bark to make these ADORABLE little bunny feet! I literally called all my family members downstairs to look at the cute little bunny feet! And no, my husband and teenagers did not get as excited as me.

I hope you enjoy these bunny butts as much as I enjoyed making them. Hopefully it provides some inspiration for your own Spring cookies! If you liked this post, make sure to subscribe below so you never miss out!
